International DJ,from South Africa, to New York, to Taiwan….started 2006 in Florida,USA, and never looked back since. Has shared the stage with the likes of Black Coffee, Louie Vega, Todd Terry, Djeff Afrozilla, Oskido , Uhuru and Anane Vega just to name afew. Most recently spent the last 5 years in New York City, from 2013 till 2018 where he tried pushing the envelope and learning from the biggest city in the world. From clubs, radio stations to hosting events, he definitely has expanded his profile and music business experience. What made you start Djing? Well, i believe it chose me, i use to be a pop and lock hiphop dancer back in high school, and i actually hated house music, i didn’t understand it, it all sounded the same to me, i was heavily into HipHop. And one day i just went to the club alone and watched as the dj connected with the crowd, took them on a journey through house music, and i was hooked. So i would save money as an 18 year old and go alone to watch the big djs in South Africa when they came to my town. Buy a coke and just watch all night and walk back home, i didn’t and still don’t dance to house music. What is your music styles? Well, i started out in 2006 djing house music, and a dj friend of mine taught me how to mix HipHop and RnB, so i used to do sets starting from HipHop and RnB and transition into house music back in those days. And by 2009 i played only House music live. And since i came to Taiwan i have picked up on HipHop and RnB again, so if you don’t see me djing house music live, there is a chance it will be HipHop and RnB. What else do you do besides Djing? Well, i do love my sports. So my favorite football team is Liverpool, and here in Taiwan, the games are usually at 3am, so i sleep early when i know my team is playing in the morning. Other sports i play are golf and billiards(pool) , otherwise i do follow the NBA when i have a chance. Why did you move to Taiwan? Well, i met my now wife, she is Taiwanese, in New York in 2015. She came to work for one year where i was also working. We started dating, and have been together since. So the plan was i would move here after 2018, so here i am :)
