DJ INNERLIGHT is widely recognized as one of the pioneers of Indonesian trance music, known for breaking genre boundaries since the early 2000s. His name first gained attention through his debut album “Take Me to the Blue Blue Sky” (2004), which remains one of the most influential trance albums ever released in Indonesia. Behind the INNERLIGHT project stands Eddie Triana, founder of Soundscape White Record and executive producer. The album “Take Me to the Blue Blue Sky” sold thousands of copies and became a major milestone that opened doors for his national and international career. In a short time, INNERLIGHT performed at numerous national dance music events alongside top local and international DJs. He has shared the stage with major names such as Solarstone, Reece Elliot, Scot Bond, Simon Brisky, Niklas Harding, Gareth Emery, Andy Moor, Matt Darey, First State, Whippenberg, and many more. A major highlight in his career came in October 2005, when his single “Waiting for Nothing” was signed by Monster Tunes, one of the UK’s biggest trance labels. Two months later, INNERLIGHT released the international compilation album Monster Series 001 in London, appearing alongside Simon Brisky. In August 2006, INNERLIGHT won the Heineken Thirst Studio 2006 competition in Jakarta. This victory led him to perform with BT and DJ Ronin at the Heineken Dome, Ancol, and also granted him the special opportunity to do a studio session with BT in Singapore. In early 2007, INNERLIGHT represented Indonesia at the Heineken Global Final in Las Vegas, USA — marking one of the biggest achievements in Indonesia’s electronic music history. In 2008, INNERLIGHT collaborated with Clubhoppers and Warner Music Indonesia to release his third album “Clubhoppers Essential Mix #5”, featuring hits like “Moonlight Dreamland”, “Conversation with You”, and “Going Home.” The album became a local trance milestone and sold thousands of copies. He also collaborated with global artists such as BT, Simon Brisky, First State, and Tiff Lacey. His latest release, the album “Miracle” (2009), sold over 7,000 CDs in Indonesia.
