Philip Jo, a South African-born (Italian origins) DJ, producer & promoter has been active in the world of electronic dance music for25yrs. Cultivating a passion for music since childhood, PhilipJo grew up listening to artists like Brian Eno, Gary Numan, Front242, Dépêche Mode, NewOrder, Kraftwerk, and Yello. His sets filter down from deep, minimal, percussive, analog hooks & grooves to pumping chained beats and infectious, melodic progressive themes complimenting the more techno-inspired realms of electronic dance music. In 2008, Philip Jo relocated to the UAE. Not much later he carved his way into the circuit soaring to the top and becoming one of the sought-after residents causing a stir with his edgy, hypnotic, and off-beat style of music, captivating his audiences with his performances and energy-rammed sets. For almost a decade he played an instrumental role in the electronic dance music scene in the UAE & abroad.
