   DJ Strast is a native of Saguenay Lac-Saint-Jean. He has been working in clubs since 2013. From hip-hop to EDM, Strast is a versatile DJ with a wide range of styles. His versatility is undoubtedly what allows him to pull his weight at parties. Strast has been a resident club DJ for several years. Since 2021, he has been resident DJ at Quebec City's prestigious Dagobert. He has made a name for himself in the Capitale Nationale, notably through his personal remixes, which bring emotion to the crowd, but also through his wide variety of music. He has shared the stage with many local and international DJs, including DJ Whookid (50 Cent's DJ), Grandtheft, DJ Ease (Young MA's DJ), DJ Infamous (Ludacris' DJ) and many others.

My experience extends well beyond today’s popular sounds—I’ve played everything from Hip-Hop, RnB, House, Afrobeat, Amapiano, GQOM, UK House, Dancehall, Soca, Kompa, Bouyon, Latin, and various Caribbean music to alternative rock, classic 70s and 80s music, and a wide range of mainstream and contemporary artists. Versatility is a big part of what I enjoy about being an open-format DJ. Whether the event calls for classic favorites, top 40's, global sounds, rock, throwbacks, or a combination of completely different genres. Strong transitions, blending, and knowing when to build energy or change direction are all part of my approach. I work with each client to understand their vision and preferences while keeping enough flexibility to respond to the energy of the room.
