A true melomaniac with a real passion to create a feel-good atmosphere. I have been DJing since 88’ at various global venues. Resident in NYC & Paris lounge bars and hotels including restaurants. For several years now I have been working on A-List private parties and weddings. Also providing entertainment for some of the music industries biggest names. I still use vinyl and the occasional CD. For me vinyl creates a warm, rich and deep experience as the needle glides through the grooves ; that cannot be replicated. There is just something about a faint hiss, click or pop on a record that just draws you in. Musical influences have been Northern Soul, Modern Soul, and Early House. These are all incorporated in my sets which include classic soul and of course those ‘Guilty Pleasures’ that we all treasure.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself and what I would like to offer. Having transitioned from a career as a professional basketball player, the past four years have been dedicated to my biggest passion of all—playing good music for good people in good places to support my mission of spreading happiness through music. People call me one of the most technically skilled female DJs on the planet, which is a great honor to hear. My dancing sets are known for their high quality of sound and visual effects, creating a true spectacle with laser beams and other vibrant props and costumes. My performances have spanned several European countries, including Spain (Ibiza), France, Italy, Poland, Romania, Portugal, and Croatia. Notable achievements include headlining numerous active sports world championships in Hungary and Romania, being a resident on the radio in Dubai, and being a Playboy Monaco model and ambassador (photo of the Playboy cover attached). Some of the tracks I have recorded were published by one of the biggest Brazilian music labels. My music sets vary from commercial house and retro to afro, funky, techno, and tribal house, as well as beautiful lounge music. Multiple observations have shown that during my sets, people dance more and spend more money at the bar buying drinks, which is a perfect complement to place owners and their revenue. In the years that followed, Carlos performed at famous venues such as Regine’s in NYC, Shanghai Red’s, Shooters, G. Wilikers and Down Under, just to name a few. By the late 90s his career continued to soar with explosive performances at the world famous Palladium, The West Gate, and guest appearances at the Copacabana and Cameo in Miami, FL. It was during this time that he launched his ProAudio company, “Peakline Sound,” which provided exclusive mobile sound reinforcement and DJ services for the famous Latin Record Label Sony/RMM Records. Peakline Sound serviced such top artists as Marc Anthony, Jennifer López, Tito Puente, José Alberto “El Canario,” Tito Nieves, Celia Cruz, Victor Manuelle and Gilberto Santa Rosa, among many others. By the year 2000 his reputation and success attracted the attention of many celebrities who quickly booked him for their private parties, including Priscilla Presley, Julio Iglesias, Eddie Murphy, Lawrence Taylor and Yves Saint Laurent. During the mid to late 2000’s Carlos performed at Saci’s, Hush, and the renowned Flamingo in NYC. Carlos continues to perform at private venues around the world and has also launched his global radio station Backto54Radio.com.
