From the late ’70s, I was surrounded by music. My parents would play vinyl records, dance, and just enjoy the moment—and that’s where my love for music began. As a teenager, I started building my own music collection, and by the ’90s, I officially stepped into the DJ world after purchasing my first Pioneer setup. I haven’t looked back since. Growing up in a multicultural household played a huge role in shaping my sound. My father, who is African American, introduced me to R&B and funk, while my mother, who is Latina, exposed me to a wide range of Latin genres. As I got older, I developed a deep love for hip-hop along with many other styles of music. That diverse foundation is what sets me apart—being able to move across genres and create an experience that not every DJ can deliver.
