Hi, I’m Nikola Zec, a 25-year-old DJ from Zagreb, Croatia. I’ve been DJing for more than 4 years across Europe and the US, playing at festivals, weddings, clubs, corporate events, and pretty much anywhere people need an excuse to dance. I’ve had the chance to work with clients such as Radisson Blu, art’otel, Salesforce, and Microsoft, but I’ve also played plenty of smaller weddings and events, which, honestly, are sometimes even more fun. 😄 I have a degree in Audio Engineering from the Academy of Music Production and Multimedia in Zagreb, and I also have experience working in Cubase program for audio production. I’m not the kind of DJ who shows up, presses play on a pre-recorded set, and spends the rest of the night looking busy. I believe the whole point of DJing is reading the room, understanding the crowd, and knowing when to change direction. If everyone suddenly wants 2000s throwbacks at 1 AM, I’m not going to argue with them. I’m going to play the 2000s throwbacks. I usually bring my own Denon SC Live 4+ controller, but I’m more than happy to work with the equipment provided at your venue. My entire music library is also prepared for Rekordbox, so switching setups is no problem. As for music, I play pretty much everything. “White girl music” included. You know, the songs we all (especially man) secretly love but pretend we don’t. 😂 I also play mainstream pop, country, Spanish reggaeton, club music, and plenty of other genres. Basically, if it gets people on the dance floor, I’m interested. And if your event or wedding is somewhere else in Europe, I have no problem travelling. I like airports almost as much as I like DJ booths, as long as 4-star hotel is provided (or better). Marko Šuran wedding dj , better known to the public as DJ Shurki, has been actively involved in music since he was 16 years old. He finished elementary music school for piano in Pazin, but his path took him to other musical genres and so he began his career as a resident of the discotheque Zodijak Lanterna in Poreč, and later in the disco Kukuriku in Pazin. Since 2015, he has been a resident of the Pazin disco club Magnus. He prefers music from the 80's and 90's, but also today's house and deep house, which opened many doors for disco clubs and other urban spaces. DJ Shurki is recognized for his distinctive musical expression and is happy to be invited to events throughout Istria and on the Adriatic coast. He released his singles “Believe” & “walked away” under the auspices of Kingside.recordings, and the singles can be found on Beatport and other music platforms. You can hear the infectious song "Believe", which was made in the manner of current world production trends, on numerous radio stations throughout Croatia.
