   Distorted kicks, accelerating tempos and mind-altering acid sounds were exactly what lured D’extra Filthy into the underground rave scene. As a sober raver, he needed music that gave him the energy to dance until the sun rays peeked through the curtains. Truth be told, a little dextrose never hurt him either. However, what gave him even more energy was standing behind that mixer and looking out into the fiery crowd! Those crowds were secretly formed in small kitchens, humid basements and deserted family homes. Whether it’s a crowd of 2 or 50, you’ll always hear the rumbling kick from the street. Especially when the kick drum came from an underground club with a subwoofer that doubles as a ventilator. Even though his DJ career is already filled with amazing memories, he still has a long way to go. Having only started one and a half years ago, D’extra is eager to gain more professional experience.
