I've been in and around the Manchester music scene for 25 years.My background is Hip Hop, Soul and Funk and in the late 90s I used to host monthly nights at Elemental and The Music Box called Style Warz. I also hosted nights in the late 00s in various venues in the North West, where I would DJ along with acts I booked to play live. Since then, I've run my own PR and radio plugging business for many years, but I still DJ out (currently at a monthly event called The Reason Why at The Peer Hat as well as recent slots at Night & Day and The Hip Hop Chip Shop). I've also got my own radio show on Fab Radio based in Chinatown called Tales of Ordinary Madness (named after a Bukowski book of short stories), which runs for two hours every Thursday from 8-10pm.
