The 4'20' Sound found its calling within the reggae & dancehall music scene. Residing in Byron Bay, Australia, back in 2011, the crew began experimenting in music production through a small DJ set customised in the back of a camper van. This unique performance attracted attention from local and international visitors which saw a following grow which spread quickly on and international level. Currently based around the Mediterranean region, The 4’20’ Sound is regarded as one of the most influential reggae music groups in the southern hemisphere. Through the years The 4’20 Sound have performed a range of shows in some of the most iconic venues and festivals across Europe, Australia and New Zealand including Uprising Festival, Reggae Sun Ska, MUSA, Splendour In The Grass, Island Vibe, Raglan Soundsplash, Boomtown, Earth Frequency and headlined the annual NYE Soul Street Festival in Byron Bay for 3 years. The numerous collaborations and projects they have undertaken with Australian and international artists had contributed for the growth of the reggae & dancehall genre within the Australian music community.
