They read the crowd with precision and elevated a special 50th birthday into something truly unforgettable. Professional, dynamic, and genuinely talented—would book again without hesitation.

He made our event so special with his musical talents!!! I welcome any further opportunities to bring him back!!! I know for certain that he made a new group of #1 fans at our event. My husband and I truly loved having him at our home.

   Jake Barney (known by their stage name - Senseishun) is a Queer, Non-Binary, Filipino artist, activist, and National award winning DJ hailing from Pittsburgh, PA. They have been spinning records for over 17 years, and have now played shows & organized many successful dance nights at prominent clubs and venues throughout Pittsburgh, including: Spirit Hall & Lodge, Brillobox, Cobra, Jackworth Ginger Beer, and even the Main Stage at Pittsburgh Pride Revolution Festival for the last three years. Most recently, Jake and their drummer Jordan Bosland (who go by Villainous Tempo when they play as a duo) were crowned National Champions of the Crash the Decks Drummer/DJ Tournament. They were the first to ever earn this title in the nine year history of the competition. Senseishun is a self described open format DJ who often takes their listeners on a journey throughout multiple genres whenever they play. Their sounds range from House and Techno to UK Garage, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Hip-Hop/Rap, R&B, Pop, Emo, Rock, Punk, Metal, 80s, 90s, and beyond. Moving forward, their goal is to play shows and festivals across the country both solo and with Villainous Tempo.
