My love for music started when I was 15 back in 90's. I Grew up in San Francisco Ca Area. Started as a bedroom dj, got my 1st unofficial equipment before teaming up with my bro Micheal Fonseca aka DJ Mykleo in the late 90's. I played Vinyl (records), and been in the business as a mobile DJ, when everything was manually done, and no sync button.

In the late 90s, at age 16 or 17, Beto Pequeno started hanging out at a neighbor's house who had a DJ setup. It was the first time he heard someone mix, and with him, he learned the value of having a personal style by mixing different musical genres and BPM ranges. His neighbor's name was David, a resident at the legendary Óxido nightclub in Vigo.
At the beginning of the 2000s, he moved to study in A Coruña. One of his roommates had a computer-based DJ setup using VTT software, which he lent to Beto to create and play his Techno-Trance tracklists. His references at the time were Paul Van Dyk, Markus Schulz, and Kevin Saunderson.
A few years later, an electronic music event production company owned by some friends closed down, and he bought their equipment: a pair of Pioneer CDJ-1000 MK3s. From that moment on, he acquired his own identity, now in the Progressive House style, influenced by Kasey Taylor, Luke Chable, Hernán Cataneo, and Cora Novoa.
His dreams of being a professional DJ were cut short by the passing of his mother in 2007. At that point, his studies and the family business took priority, and DJing became a hobby.
Currently, Beto plays at private parties and gives lessons to young people. He believes the only way to de-stigmatize electronic music is by introducing it to new generations who do not yet have a formed opinion. His genre today is a mix of everything that has passed through his ears throughout his life, from Downtempo House to Techno, including non-electronic sounds like Jazz, Rock, or Indie. As for references, he only has one left: Laurent Garnier. _*
