Greetings! I am an open format Dj with experience providing entertainment across the west coast for over 10 years. I am experienced deejaying for weddings, clubs, birthday parties as well as other various corporate gigs in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle. Aside from my extensive knowledge of music, both past and present. I love being able to work with my clients to establish the exact vibe and sound they want to give their event the soundscape they've been dreaming of for their event. I also have a one of a kind --club to your home--dj service. My day job is actually a night job as i manage a club in the seattle area. In my free time I enjoy traveling and spending time with my son.
What up, I'm Rortron and I've been Djing locally in Eugene for over two years. I've seen lots of amazing live acts and I always strive to try and recreate how I felt when I was totally lost in the moment and the music. I love to play lots of funk/soul/disco but I am constantly finding amazing versions of classics from the past that have been regrooved for a dance floor vibe. This includes some hip hop, melodic and vocal house, and more. I've supported Lapa, Nappy Roots, Medusa, Fortune's Folly, Dirtwire, and other artists. I'm usually playing locally in Eugene at various venues like Sessions Music Hall, Blairally, Kesey Square, Sam Bond's, Cowfish, and more.
I am originally from England, yet I’ve lived in Whistler, B.C for 15 years now. I have 2 years of experience and I have played number of shows for 150+ people. I am happy to travel around the Whistler, Pemberton, Squamish, and Vancouver area to play at your event or party. I have a Traktor Kontrol S4 MK2, yet I do not have a sound system large enough for a big event, nor do I have my own lighting. However, this could be organized quite easily. I like to play for around an hour to an hour and a half at a time, yet if you need a longer set in mind, I could adapt as long as I have time to think about what I plan to do.
