We stopped in at The Little Friend after having a mediocre dinner next door - the bar with dj Kir Royale turned our whole night around! The music she played was the best of electronic music, familiar songs but not the same old stuff you hear at every LA bar. We wished she stayed on longer because we were having so much fun!! And it wasn’t just us, she had the whole room dancing and having a good time! Hope we get to see her perform again, LA needs more djs like her!

Kir Royale was an awesome surprise at Little Friend! She mixed in real-time, and played a lot more than just the Top 40 stuff you hear on repeat everywhere else (though she def had quite a few jams in there to keep the party going). She was great at reading the room, letting us low-key vibe when the energy was a little low, but knowing exactly when to turn it up and get us dancing. She also looked like she was having a great time which inspired me and my friend’s keep the party going. Would love to see her play again soon!
