Teotl sounds aka. Baifo is an experienced DJ from the electronic scene originating from the region of Flanders, Belgium. Baifo also has a larger vision, a project focused on environmental protection with the additional intention to integrate the ancestral tradition of Mesoamerican cultures. This dream is leading to the creation and collaboration of various projects in different parts of the world while also continueing its musical proposal. Baifo's style is influenced by ancient and ceremonial music around the world and also by downtempo, jazz and deep house just to mention a few genres. Baifo's proposal has been presented in Europe, Asia and America, in countries such as his home in Belgium, Holland, Austria, Indonesia, Costa Rica and Mexico. Baifo has lined up with artists such as Ben Pierce, DJ Thang, Praga Khan and many others. Within the Belgian music scene, Jan has been a partner in some well-known bars such as "De Geverfde Vogel" or "De Hoeve", in which under his Baifo project he has shared for years sessions loaded with disco, funk, deep house, R&B, and more. Baifo is a co-creator and partner of Clean Sounds, a cultural association in the Canary Islands that carries out musical and artistic events in a sustainable way using solar energy, promoting and sharing a healthier way of relating to the environment while also aligning with his passion for musical creation. Currently, Jan is the sole owner and developer of the SanaSanaForest foundation, a project that involves environmental preservation, community work, music, art and technological development in constant dialogue to create and all around healthy environment regarding the life of nature and of those who live with it. Under the name of 'Teotl Sounds', which can be understood as "the sound of the deities". Jan Mespreuve demonstrates his knowledge of world music, ancient cultures and traditions in all of his creations. He is merging new technologies and creating sessions loaded with natural, ancestral and experimental rythms presented in a harmonious way for conscious listening. The SanaSanaForest project has been hoasted in various Ecstatic Dance around the world.
