My name is Joseph and I'm Greek-Lebanese. By day, I'm a film teacher and sound editor. By night, I'm a musician and DJ. But more importantly, I'm the founder of the independent record label Maxi 45 Music & Records. So what's this label about? It's devoted to sharing Middle Eastern music from various genres, types and eras, both in original versions and remixed versions, also projecting future releases on the vinyl market. Through my music production and my DJ sets, I ensure the survival of historically significant music from the MENA region, presenting the music in its original form as well as revisiting it in contemporary, up-to-date arrangements, bridging cultural and generational gaps among Oriental and Western audiences.
