I am a professional DJ from Vienna. I like to play disco, techno, house, 80's, 90's, 00's, Afro house and lounge, remixes. I organize and host events for up to 800 people on a regular basis. Hi, I’m Nikola Zec, a 25-year-old DJ from Zagreb, Croatia. I’ve been DJing for more than 4 years across Europe and the US, playing at festivals, weddings, clubs, corporate events, and pretty much anywhere people need an excuse to dance. I’ve had the chance to work with clients such as Radisson Blu, art’otel, Salesforce, and Microsoft, but I’ve also played plenty of smaller weddings and events, which, honestly, are sometimes even more fun. 😄 I have a degree in Audio Engineering from the Academy of Music Production and Multimedia in Zagreb, and I also have experience working in Cubase program for audio production. I’m not the kind of DJ who shows up, presses play on a pre-recorded set, and spends the rest of the night looking busy. I believe the whole point of DJing is reading the room, understanding the crowd, and knowing when to change direction. If everyone suddenly wants 2000s throwbacks at 1 AM, I’m not going to argue with them. I’m going to play the 2000s throwbacks. I usually bring my own Denon SC Live 4+ controller, but I’m more than happy to work with the equipment provided at your venue. My entire music library is also prepared for Rekordbox, so switching setups is no problem. As for music, I play pretty much everything. “White girl music” included. You know, the songs we all (especially man) secretly love but pretend we don’t. 😂 I also play mainstream pop, country, Spanish reggaeton, club music, and plenty of other genres. Basically, if it gets people on the dance floor, I’m interested. And if your event or wedding is somewhere else in Europe, I have no problem travelling. I like airports almost as much as I like DJ booths, as long as 4-star hotel is provided (or better).
