  2. Jake Barney (known by their stage name - Senseishun) is a Queer, Non-Binary, Filipino artist, activist, and National award winning DJ hailing from Pittsburgh, PA. They have been spinning records for over 17 years, and have now played shows & organized many successful dance nights at prominent clubs and venues throughout Pittsburgh, including: Spirit Hall & Lodge, Brillobox, Cobra, Jackworth Ginger Beer, and even the Main Stage at Pittsburgh Pride Revolution Festival for the last three years. Most recently, Jake and their drummer Jordan Bosland (who go by Villainous Tempo when they play as a duo) were crowned National Champions of the Crash the Decks Drummer/DJ Tournament. They were the first to ever earn this title in the nine year history of the competition. Senseishun is a self described open format DJ who often takes their listeners on a journey throughout multiple genres whenever they play. Their sounds range from House and Techno to UK Garage, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Hip-Hop/Rap, R&B, Pop, Emo, Rock, Punk, Metal, 80s, 90s, and beyond. Moving forward, their goal is to play shows and festivals across the country both solo and with Villainous Tempo.

  3. From the late ’70s, I was surrounded by music. My parents would play vinyl records, dance, and just enjoy the moment—and that’s where my love for music began. As a teenager, I started building my own music collection, and by the ’90s, I officially stepped into the DJ world after purchasing my first Pioneer setup. I haven’t looked back since. Growing up in a multicultural household played a huge role in shaping my sound. My father, who is African American, introduced me to R&B and funk, while my mother, who is Latina, exposed me to a wide range of Latin genres. As I got older, I developed a deep love for hip-hop along with many other styles of music. That diverse foundation is what sets me apart—being able to move across genres and create an experience that not every DJ can deliver.

They read the crowd with precision and elevated a special 50th birthday into something truly unforgettable. Professional, dynamic, and genuinely talented—would book again without hesitation.

    Reviewed on: 11/13/2023 Our experience with Gary Prisby was AMAZING!!! He is such a gifted musician (vocalist and guitarist)!! He is so very kind and so easy to work with and very professional!!! He made our event so special with his musical talents!!! I welcome any further opportunities to bring him back!!! I know for certain that he made a new group of #1 fans at our event. My husband and I truly loved having him at our home.

    DJ Simmerz did a phenomenal job! He was responsive and easy to work with from the beginning, and he worked within my budget. He kept us dancing all night long. Every single person was dancing. We had folks who could, not would dance. dancing. We had couples sharing their first dance in decades. People dancing with people they only just met everywhere. It was a truly magical experience i’ll treasure. my favorite part of the whole day. My walk down the aisle music was also very well coordinated.
