During the 1990s, he immersed himself in the electronic and clubbing scene, where he notably met Daft Punk at a clubbing event—an encounter that reinforced his passion for music and nightlife culture. Expanding his activities beyond DJing, Artmann became an entertainment entrepreneur, organizing live performances and cultural events. Among his notable projects, he organized a concert with Barbaro Teuntor García, trumpeter and singer of the legendary Buena Vista Social Club, and later collaborated with DJ Zebra for the Latino Folie’s night at the Museum Café in Rennes. In 2012, he was invited to DJ a private birthday celebration. The enthusiastic response from guests marked a turning point and revealed his natural talent behind the decks. This experience led him to pursue DJing professionally as a generalist DJ, performing at weddings, birthdays, private events, bars, and clubs. To refine his skills and elevate his craft, Artmann joined the DJ Network school in Cannes in early 2017, where he trained professionally and developed a clubbing and M.A.O (Music Assisted by Computer) concept. Today, he delivers dynamic, elegant, and crowd-focused performances, adapting seamlessly to diverse audiences and venues.
I have been a DJ since I was 12 years old, always mixing genres of electronic music, EDM, almost all types of House, and Melodic Techno. I arrived in France in November 2022. Before that, I lived in Brazil and used to DJ at 2-3 events per week. I am accustomed to the atmosphere of nightclubs, bars, and lounges, which were the most common. However, rooftops, boats, private parties, and festivals have also been part of my agenda. I can mix with my equipment, the DDJ-FLX6-GT, or any controller that is available on site. I have 2 speakers if necessary, 450W each, ideal for events with a maximum of 200 people outdoors and 250 people indoors. Additionally, I have contacts for lights and other event structures in south of France if needed. I am based in Marseille but travel isn't a problem, as long as my accommodation and round-trip transportation are covered.
