About DJ Lu

I am a DJ from Chicago but currently living in Tokyo. Through mixing I strive to respect the classics while pushing the boundaries of DJing by fusing together disco house classics and groovy, electronic beats. I would describe my mixes as spacey, dreamy, upbeat and sweet, and my goal as a DJ is always to inspire people to dance. I usually play at dance venues, though I also have experience playing for private event receptions. I have played at Ruby Room in Shibuya and HVAC Pub in Chicago, served as an opening act for esteemed musical artist Sango, and have DJed for a fashion show and a pop-up nightclub, among several other private events in Chicago. I also DJ weekly on the air at WNUR 89.3 FM, my local public radio station.
