Emily, aka DJ Soulcat, served as DJ for my wife's surprise 50th birthday party and she was FANTASTIC! All I did was give her some songs my wife likes and she read the crowd and played a perfect mix of music, and then ramped things up as people took to the dance floor. She also served as emcee for the event and everything ran smoothly. Because DJ Soulcat has such an impressive resume, I was worried that she would find a surprise party a bit ordinary, but she didn't. She was invested and was instrumental in making the party such a big success. She is also a very kind human being. I cannot recommend her more highly!
