I started loving music when I was little and was inspired by David Guetta, Pitbull and Rihanna. Then I discovered house and its sub-genres- chill house, and deep house. This was when I figured out about my aspirations to be a professional DJ. I had classes to obtain my DJ certificate and then progressed to making my own music on the platform Ableton which is well known in the DJing community. The music genre I derive the most enjoyment from DJing and producing is deep house because it is one of the genres of music that inspires me. During a deep house set I become lost in the music and my mixing feels intuitive. When I am mixing my music as a DJ, I feel motivation and excitement because it is a constantly developing field and offers the opportunity for continuous professional and technical development. What I really hope to do with my music in the future is to get it out on all platforms and sell it on an app called Beatport. This will allow my growing number of followers to listen to and enjoy my music. It is a very fun job, and I enjoy it a lot because you discover new DJs and fresh music. That is what I love about this job. It's very competitive and extremely creative. It is challenging to get your foot in door of clubs, especially the good ones because they require past experience such as crowd control. They also require specific music. Where I live, in most bars they play reggaeton rather than house music because it's not a club. It is a different place. It is not like a club in Ibiza. My aim as a DJ this year is to DJ at bars and gain more followers bit by bit. I will start my path DJing more music like pop and house music. Following that, I will start sending out my remixes to bars in Madrid so that more people will be familiar with my work as a DJ and follow me on social media. I hope to build contacts and collaborate with DJs. When my content is of a certain standard, I will begin sending it to record labels.
