I have 39 years professional experience in both radio and mobile DJ work, and am a Foundation Platinum member of the NZ Professional Deejays Association. I am based in South Auckland and cover all of NZ. I will help you every step of the way, from helping you with your event planning to picking your perfect playlist, recommending music to suit your needs and I will try to accommodate any special requirements you may have. I've done gigs for: * NZ Police * Inland Revenue * SkyCity * Westpac * Auckland Zoo * NZ Army * Campbells Restaurant * Suaves Nightclub * Stanley's Nightclub * MAKLC Bar * Elsie's Bar * Rotorua Citizens Club * The Lollipop Lounge * NZ Dutch Association * Lux NZ as well as numerous DJ residencies and private gigs. Every component of our premium sound system has been hand picked by myself for high quality, clean crisp sound. Our Vamp 2000 speakers were designed by us and custom built to our specifications. We supply high quality LED lighting as part of our standard package, and laser lighting and a smoke machine are available for an extra cost. We supply a standard mic for speeches, wireless mics are available for an extra cost. I charge for travel outside of Auckland, and my travel charge is payable upfront and is non-refundable. Travel costs depend on distance travelled. Remember, a good DJ isn't cheap and a cheap DJ isn't good. Let my experience speak for itself.

    We hired Wayne to DJ for our wedding. Wayne listened to what we required, and delivered more than expected. From the lighting to the quality of sound, everything was just perfect.     We would highly recommend Wayne. Wayne was the DJ and MC for our January 2021 wedding. Right from the start Wayne was great to work with, prompt clear communication and professional. When our wedding was postponed due to circumstances beyond our control Wayne showed a huge amount of compassion and flexibility - rebooking with us for a date almost two years later. In the lead up to and on our wedding day Wayne was an advocate for us and went above and beyond to ensure our wedding went smoothly and we had the best day ever. Wayne had all our guests up and dancing till the end of the night and all our guests talk about how much fun they had dancing. The highlight of the night was when Wayne got all guests and the staff at our venue on the dance floor to dance for the final song of the night - was a great way to end the night. A huge amount of thanks, gratitude and aroha to Wayne for giving us a great service and many special memories that we fondly look back on.

    Hiring Wayne was something I wish I'd done sooner. When our regular DJ was a no show, we called Wayne at the very last minute to see if he could fill in. Not only did he save the day, he saved our arses. Awesome showmanship, brilliant at keeping the dancefloor full, and he knows his music. Wayne has the uncanny ability to actually know the crowd - not just read them. He knows his stuff, that's for sure! A top DJ with a work ethic to match - You won't be disappointed.
