Originally from Brazzaville in Congo, the land of the Bantus and the Sapeurs, Artmann is a versatile DJ whose musical journey spans continents and cultures. 👉 Reference & portfolio: https://www.dj-artmann.com Arriving in France in 1980, Artmann developed a deep and open-minded relationship with music, guided by one core belief: good music has no style. During the 1990s, he immersed himself in the electronic and clubbing scene, where he notably met Daft Punk at a clubbing event—an encounter that reinforced his passion for music and nightlife culture. Expanding his activities beyond DJing, Artmann became an entertainment entrepreneur, organizing live performances and cultural events. Among his notable projects, he organized a concert with Barbaro Teuntor García, trumpeter and singer of the legendary Buena Vista Social Club, and later collaborated with DJ Zebra for the Latino Folie’s night at the Museum Café in Rennes. In 2012, he was invited to DJ a private birthday celebration. The enthusiastic response from guests marked a turning point and revealed his natural talent behind the decks. This experience led him to pursue DJing professionally as a generalist DJ, performing at weddings, birthdays, private events, bars, and clubs. To refine his skills and elevate his craft, Artmann joined the DJ Network school in Cannes in early 2017, where he trained professionally and developed a clubbing and M.A.O (Music Assisted by Computer) concept.
