I am Selecta Majayéorimi, a DJ, cultural activist, and engaged figure within the Paris hip hop scene. I am the founder of XV3Radio75, an independent dual webradio launched in 2018 to showcase rap from Paris—especially the 18th district—while also highlighting women in hip hop. This platform sits at the core of my artistic and cultural work. Since 2024, I have been a DJ with the collective Le Hoodie, the official DJ crew of XV3Radio75, alongside DJ Fé Bless' and DJ Pois'N'Meko. My DJ sets are deeply influenced by my background as a former rapper and hip hop artist. I build narrative-driven selections that blend classics, underground gems, and new releases, always rooted in Paris’ local energy and street culture. Before focusing on DJing, I spent over a decade as a rapper, notably as a member of the group 18e Infanterie, active from 2010. This experience shaped my musical ear, stage presence, and approach to performance. I approach DJ sets as storytelling moments, paying close attention to energy, flow, and message. I am also the founder of Unlablld Entertainment, the non-profit organization behind XV3Radio75. Since 2019, it has produced hip hop events across Paris, including the annual #GRLPWR Festival, dedicated to promoting women in rap and urban music. Entirely self-taught, I have developed skills in sound engineering, DJing, visual production, graphic design, programming, and event management. Today, I continue to grow my work as a DJ, curator, and programmer through XV3Radio75, Le Hoodie, and live events, while remaining open to new artistic and cultural collaborations within the hip hop ecosystem.
